Gold Award, Worldfest-Houston. A depressed, elderly Asian artist honors his deceased wife’s birthday in a small cafe. During his quiet celebration, with the help of his wife’s spirit, he not only renews his passion for painting, but also he helps a young couple in the cafe to renew their love for one another.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Tokyo-born MASASHI NAGADOI receive a B.A. from Macalester and worked as a management consultant for the firm of Ernst & Young. He went on to UCLA's Graduate Film School where he received a M.F.A. and the MPAA Award. He has directed and produced a feature, “Cruel Game”, short films, documentaries, videos, television and commercials.
