“A Modern Japanese Myth – American Style”
Finalist, Film Front National Student Film Festival. An ambitious Japanese door-to-door toy salesman leaves home to pursue his dreams of riches and fame in Los Angeles. However, he struggles with the continuous harsh rejections and he finds himself alone on the beach, lost in despair. Soon after, he meets a beautiful rich American woman who not only buys all his toys, but also proposes to him. His new life with her is destined to be happy, but to lead him to not just shocking, but surreal twists instead.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Tokyo-born MASASHI NAGADOI receive a B.A. from Macalester and worked as a management consultant for the firm of Ernst & Young. He went on to UCLA's Graduate Film School where he received a M.F.A. and the MPAA Award. He has directed and produced a feature, “Cruel Game”, short films, documentaries, videos, television and commercials.
